The Model European Parliament (MEP) is a leadership program for youth in the EU countries. The aim of the program is to educate young people at high school level to develop their understanding of how the EU and the European Parliament work, and just as important to work cross borders/cultures with other young Europeans and create resolutions to be put forward to the youth parliament (GA/General Assembly) and voted on.MEP CSEE is a regional organization working along the same lines – in Central and Southeast Europe. Eight countries are members – including Austria, Bulgaria, Poland, Czechia, Slowakia, Slovenia, Romania, Hungary, and Germany as a Guest Country.
